► Movies Seen in 2013

7. Warm Bodies (2013)
Director: Jonathan Levine
Stars: Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Rob Cordry, Analeigh Tipton, Dave Franco, and John Malkovich
Summary: After R (a highly unusual zombie) saves Julie from an attack, the two form a relationship that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world.
Quote: “I don’t want to be this way. I am lonely, I am lost. I mean I am literally lost, I have never been in this part of the airport before.
Rating: ★★★★1/2☆
Comment:  Not to sound like an elitist, but the book is better than the movie and it’s mostly because R’s narrative and the writing is gorgeous; however, the movie is still worth definitely watching. It’s a fun, quirky twist on the usual supernatural romance and the zombie genre. (Also Nicholas Hoult makes for a gorgeous zombie and him and Teresa Palmer are perfect.) Also fun fact: the book and movie are loosely based off Romeo and Juliet, be on the look out for similarities.
